Our weekly sessions take place at St Marks Church Halls, Brickhill, Bedford, MK41 7UY, covering the 3 main principles of performance – acting, singing and dancing.

These sessions bring students together in their age groups to learn ensemble songs, work on their acting skills and dance their socks off! They become rehearsals for a performance as the year progresses, and all students have the chance to perform each and every year.
Junior Ensemble: Minis

Every dream starts somewhere… In these 75-minute sessions our young performers cover all three disciplines and learn the basic skills of imagination and stagecraft. Most importantly, we make sure everyone feels comfortable, creating a vibrant atmosphere to learn in!

Join us for an exciting Hercules-inspired Musical Theatre Workshop open to young performers from both inside and outside Theatretrain!
This high-energy session will be led by a former Theatretrain teacher and original cast member from the West End production of Hercules, giving participants the incredible opportunity to learn from someone who has performed the show professionally on a West End stage.
Expect brilliant choreography, performance skills, character work and plenty of musical theatre magic as we bring the world of Hercules to life!
🌟 You do not need to be a Theatretrain student to take part – everyone is welcome.
If you love performing, musical theatre and learning from West End professionals, this is a workshop you won’t want to miss.

Join us for an exciting Hercules-inspired Musical Theatre Workshop open to young performers from both inside and outside Theatretrain!
Our Junior Company workshop is specially designed for children aged 4–6 years, giving them the chance to explore the wonderful world of performing through dance, drama and singing.
Led by our fantastic Junior Company teaching team, the session will be packed with fun, imagination, music, movement and confidence-building activities – all in a friendly and supportive environment.
✨ No previous experience is needed and you don’t need to be a Theatretrain student to join us.
Perfect for little ones who love to sing, dance, act and use their imagination!

Dance
Our professional choreographers instruct young people in a huge range of dance styles and techniques, letting them collaborate as a group and find the power of movement.
Act
We empower your child to express themselves without judgement, encouraging them to take on characters, tell creative stories and follow their passion for acting.
Sing
We encourage all our students to build their confidence through song, embracing technical and real-world techniques used by singing professionals.

We organise large-scale performances, and each year our students have the chance to take part in exciting shows and events, making memories and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Our big performances have taken place in stunning venues like the Royal Albert Hall and West End theatres.

What Sessions Do You Offer At Theatretrain Bedford?
Our sessions cover acting, dancing and singing. All our performers learn to use techniques that cover space, storytelling, sound and movement and what we call attitude – the feelings behind their performance.
What is the age range for Theatretrain?
At our main company, sessions are offered to 6-18 year-olds, divided into age groups: 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years.
We also offer Junior Ensemble, with TT Minis sessions for 4-5-year-olds and TT Tinies for 3-4 year olds.
Do you have to audition to join Theatretrain?
No, we don’t require you to audition for your place at Theatretrain. We don’t judge the people who want to join us, and we’re confident our students will quickly get in the swing of the Theatretrain Way.
What Days And Times Are Sessions?
Our main sessions are on Saturdays in term time from 10am-1pm.
Junior Ensemble: TT Minis sessions, which take place on Saturdays in term time from 8.40am – 9.55am and 10.00am – 11.15am
Junior Ensemble: TT Tinies sessions, which take place on Saturdays in term time from 11.30am – 12.00pm
How much do Theatretrain sessions cost?
Our Main Company session costs £77 per month.
Junior Ensemble: TT Minis £40 per month.
