Drama Classes, Dance Classes and Singing Classes in Bexley.
Classes run Saturdays during school term time
Come and join us at Theatretrain Bexley for dance, drama and singing classes for 6-18 year olds. Whether you’re a West End wannabe or a shy wallflower looking to make friends and gain confidence this is the place for you. Our ethos is as a ‘performance company’ and ALL students take part in ALL productions whatever their level of ability. We believe this not only gives our students skills and confidence in performance but also respect and appreciation for each other AND the responsibility of working for the team not just themselves.
So come along…we’d love to have you on board!
TT Main School (6-18yrs)
We have 3 age groups, 6-9, 9-12 and 13-18 and each group participates in 1 hour of Dance, Drama and Singing
Sessions are £18.00 for 3 hours, all siblings are only £9 per session.
We create amazing opportunities for our stage school students to perform on stage in local, regional and world famous West End venues.
All students have the chance to perform every year.
TT Minis (4-5yrs)
We also offer a fabulous small class enabling our wonderful teacher to really give them the individual attention they deserve. The class is lively and high-energy incorporating dance, singing and pretending! Feed their imagination, improve movement and social skills whilst building their confidence in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Parents are very welcome to sit in the classroom for their 1st lesson (& 2nd if you wish!) You can pay for the classes weekly or half-termly. Our Minis are always involved in our Local performances.
Burnt Oak School, Sidcup, Kent

Autumn Term – 8th September- 8th December
For over two decades we’ve championed an exhilarating approach to theatre school education
in the theatrical arts for young people aged 6-18.
We teach our children how to Dance, Act and Sing in performing arts classes at
Blackfen School for Girls, Blackfen Road, Sidcup DA15 9NU
Our Stage school brings out the best in students, builds confidence, and gives aspiring young actors opportunities of a lifetime via our large scale London shows and our smaller local shows each year.
No auditions are necessary as we teach them everything they need to know!
We also offer the exciting opportunity to audition for Goldman’s Management. There is no fee to audition. We currently have students attending regular castings and auditions in Musical Theatre, TV and film. Our students have appeared in Mcdonalds, Argos and Asda TV commercials, as well as a West-End Play at the Almeida Theatre plus TV shows on Discovery ID and Channel 4. We support the students every single step of the way, and we often help students with upcoming auditions giving them advice and tips.
Here at Bexley TT we have a very passionate, professional team! All staff are experienced, fully DBS checked and have all professionally trained within the Performing Arts.
We are fully Insured at Bexley TT
‘Hi, I’m Kate Barnes and I am the very Proud Centre Director here at Bexley TT! I have had the school for 5 years and watched the school grow from 39 students when I first took over as Centre Director, up to a brilliant 70 students! I was the Dance teacher for 6 years before I took over, so I already had a love for the students and I knew how passionate I felt about the company Theatretrain. I am still very happy to be the dance teacher as well as running the school. We have a wonderful Centre Manager Gemma Young, who has been a good friend of mine for 15 years. As a team we all get on so well, which I feel gives a really friendly ‘Family’ feel to the school. I am passionate about the Performing Arts, I started dance at the young age of 2.5, I went on to gain a scholarship place at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Barbican, London. I have been happily teaching at Primary and Secondary schools, as well as Performing Arts schools for the last 12 years. Nothing beats the ‘buzz’ of teaching a child and watching their confidence blossom, most students at TT seem shy at first but soon grow in their self-esteem with the help of our supportive, enthusiastic team. We soon find it’s not long and they can’t wait to perform in one of our shows! After the 1st performance they’re soon asking ‘When’s the next show?’ I feel incredibly proud of every single student here at Bexley Theatetrain and warmly welcome any newcomers. Join our family, jump on board the train!’
