Theatretrain Bury St Edmunds Local Show Success

Theatretrain Bury St Edmunds performed ‘Here We Are Now’ at The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds on 25th February 2018.

The students aged 6 to 18 performed a variety of musical theatre numbers from well-known musicals Including Half A Sixpence.  They also explored some less known musicals including Something Rotten, Waitress and The Colour Purple.  Students danced to popular tracks including Elton John’s I’m Still Standing and an 80’s medley. Songs from Moana, Anastasia and a pop medley were sung and the audience were thoroughly enterained.

This is the second time Bury St Edmunds have performed at The Theatre Royal.  It’s a beautifully restored Regency theatre in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. The building is one of eight Grade I listed theatres in the United Kingdom, and is the only working theatre operated under the auspices of the National Trust.
