About Us

Our fun filled week includes, skills work shops, West End performer guest appearance and workshop, Team games and competitions plus evening talent competition.

At the end of the week there will be a performance by all of the pupils. Previous years have seen, Bugsy Malone, Alice in wonderland, We Will Rock You, Cindy, Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, Robin Hood, ‘Matilda’ ‘Aladdin’,’ The Pied Piper’and ‘Ten Today’.

The magnificent grounds of The Royal Hospital school are located in the heart of Suffolk and have views across the River Deben. The accommodation is of very high quality both in the dormitories and leisure area’s. The boarding cost also includes three meals a day. Again because of the high class caliber of this Boarding school, the menu choices are excellent.

There are tennis courts and a swimming pool for our use. Insurance is also included and a Theatretrain T-shirt. For those attending from outside of the U.K. we can assist with collections from some Airports and the local railway station in Ipswich.

Each year demand increases, we therefore advise that you make a provisional booking as soon as possible. Deposits should be paid in February and full payment is required by June. We also offer a payment scheme where you can spread payments over several months. Please ask for details. Unfortunately we cannot offer any sibling discounts as our costs are reflected in this very good price.

Staff are all qualified and hold a enhanced DBS. They are also Licensed Chaperones. Local council lifeguards are used during swimming time. Pupils are supervised at all times.
