Our 6-Point Right Fit Guarantee
Trying something new can feel like a big step.
Will they be okay?… Will they join in?…Will they feel left out?… What if they’re nervous?
We get that.
So here’s what we promise:

1. Your child will be properly welcomed
From the moment you arrive, your child won’t just be left to figure it out. We’ll help them settle, know where they’re going and feel looked after.

2. Nervous is normal
Shy, quiet or clingy children are absolutely not the first we’ve met. We know starting can feel big, and we’ll do all we can to help them feel comfortable.

3. A taster should feel like the real thing
Your child gets a proper Theatretrain experience, so you can genuinely see if it feels right, not a watered-down version.

4. No pressure if it’s not for you
If your child tries it and it’s not the right fit, that’s okay. No pushy follow-up. No awkwardness.

5. We notice the individual child
Not just the confident ones. Not just the loud ones. We work hard to make sure every child feels included, encouraged and supported.

6. We’ll always be honest
If we genuinely feel Theatretrain isn’t the right place for your child right now, we’ll tell you. Because this has to be right for your child, not just right for us.
What happens when a child first arrives?
Those first 10 minutes are usually when parents decide whether they’ve made the right choice.
That’s why we take time to welcome you, help your child find their place and make sure they know where they’re going and who they’re with.
For many children, it’s the moment the nerves start to ease and they begin to relax into the morning.
Will my child have someone to help them settle in?
When a new child joins us, we pair them with one of our Welcome Ambassadors.
These are existing students who help new children settle in. They’ll show them where to go, sit with them, introduce them to others and help them feel part of the group.
They wear a lanyard during the session, so your child always knows there is someone looking out for them.
Worried your child might be nervous?
Many parents tell us this before their first visit.
We make sure new children know where they’re going, who they’re with and what to expect. Some jump straight in. Others take a little longer to settle. Both are perfectly normal.
The aim of a taster session is simple: helping your child feel comfortable enough to enjoy themselves.
What Happens after a Taster Session?
After your child’s first Theatretrain session, we’ll be in touch over the following week to see how it went and answer any questions.
You’ll hear from us:
– by email to check in and share next steps
– by WhatsApp to make it easy to reply and chat things through
Some parents know straight away whether Theatretrain is right for their child. Others like a little time (or even a second session) to help them decide. Both are completely normal.
There’s no pressure. Just support while you work out what’s right for your child.
