Theatretrain has successfully opened franchises for over 25 years, we have 72 centres around the UK, teaching 3,500 kids nationwide. As a company we have performed at many West end Theatres in the last 27 years including The Theatre Royal Drury Lane, The London Palliadum, Sadler’s Wells and even the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. In 2013 Theatretrain celebrated its 21st Anniversary by taking all 3,500 Theatretrain students and performing at the O2 Arena.

What Does a Franchise Look Like?

Who are Theatretrain looking for?
Theatretrain has a powerful and successful vision. Energy enthusiasm and commitment have already been mentioned as necessary skills. The company focuses on training individual skills to its students and underpins this by making the experience very team based. Not all students are equally skillful at all three subjects but because of the team mentality students frequently raise the level of their skill to that of the best in class. So, they seek people who understand the importance of instilling confidence and fostering the imagination. Centre Directors are people with an affinity with or a background in the performing arts. They are organised people who understand that they are running a business as well as being part of a successful national training organisation. They love to see the development and change in young people as they grow in confidence and welcome the many opportunities to work with other centres and be part of specially created shows. They like the ensemble nature of theatre, have generosity of spirit and value the varied nature of the work.
