Theatretrain students perform It Snows for the National Theatre Connections

back

This is the first year that Theatretrain Reading has taken part in a festival to develop new and exciting performance opportunities. The National Theatre Connections Festival has been running for 21 years and this year, over 500 young companies will perform. 26 young performers, who take Advanced Dance and Drama classes, have been working on the highly visual and physical play, ‘It Snows’ by Bryony Lavery and Frantic Assembly.

Same old story. Boy doesn’t meet Girl. Girl doesn’t meet Boy. Threatened by terrifying Lads Gang. Threatened by awe-inspiring Girls Gang. Mum and Dad have declared war… against each other. Weird neighbour in the building opposite. Usual ordinary gloominess. Then, one day, it snows. Everything changes.

This show will be performed at the Oakwood Theatre, Woodley on Sunday 3rd April 3:30pm, Thursday 7th April 7:30pm and Friday 8th April 7:30pm.
