Theatretrain Letchworth brings together singing, dance and drama in a supportive environment where children and teenagers grow in confidence, make friends and learn to express themselves, with encouragement every step of the way.

Theatretrain Letchworth Sessions
Our weekly sessions take place on Saturdays at St Christopher’s School, Letchworth, covering the 3 main principles of performance – acting, singing and dancing.
Main Company
- St Christopher's School Barrington Rd, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3JZ
- 6-18 year olds
- Saturdays | 9am-12pm
- £80 per month by Direct Debit from the second term onwards. First term fees are paid per term (maximum £336).
- Performers are divided into the following age groups: 6-9-year-olds, 9-12-year-olds, and 13-18-year-olds.
These sessions bring students together in their age groups to learn ensemble songs, work on their acting skills and dance their socks off! They become rehearsals for a performance as the year progresses, and all students have the chance to perform each and every year.

Junior Company: Minis
- St Christopher's School Barrington Rd, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3JZ
- 4-5 year olds
- Saturdays | 9.15am-10.45am & 10.45am-12.15pm
- £47 per month by Direct Debit from the second term onwards. First term fees are paid per term (maximum £196).
Every dream starts somewhere… In these 90-minute sessions our young performers cover all three disciplines and learn the basic skills of imagination and stagecraft. Most importantly, we make sure everyone feels comfortable, creating a vibrant atmosphere to learn in!

Dance
Our professional choreographers instruct kids and young people in a huge range of dance styles and techniques, letting them collaborate as a group and find the power of movement.

Act
We empower your child to express themselves without judgement, encouraging them to take on characters, tell creative stories and follow their passion for acting.

Sing
We encourage all our students to build their confidence through song, embracing technical and real-world techniques used by singing professionals.

We organise large-scale performances, and each year our students have the chance to take part in exciting shows and events, making memories and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Our big performances have taken place in stunning venues like the Royal Albert Hall and West End theatres.

What Sessions Do You Offer At Theatretrain Letchworth?
Our classes for kids cover acting, dancing and singing. All our performers learn to use techniques that cover space, storytelling, sound and movement and what we call attitude – the feelings behind their performance.
What is the age range for Theatretrain?
At our main company, sessions are offered to 6-18 year-olds, divided into age groups: 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years.
We also offer Junior Company, with TT Minis sessions for 4-5-year-olds
Do you have to audition to join Theatretrain?
No, we don’t require you to audition for your place at Theatretrain. We don’t judge the people who want to join us, and we’re confident our students will quickly get in the swing of the Theatretrain Way.
What Days And Times Are Sessions?
Our main sessions are on Saturdays in term time from 9am-12pm
We also offer Junior Company: TT Minis sessions, which take place on Saturdays in term time from 9.15-10.45
How much do Theatretrain sessions cost?
Our Main Company session costs £80 per month
Junior Ensemble: £47 per month
