Hi, I’m Becky!
I’m the Company Director here at Theatretrain Basildon, as well as the Company Director and Acting director at Theatretrain Chelmsford, where my job is to ensure your children are enjoying their professional theatre training in a fun and creative way.
I have been performing since the age of 8 with the Essex Group, in shows and tours such as, West Side Story (Consuelo), Les Miserables (Ensemble), We Will Rock You (Teen Queen 1), Calamity Jane (Calamity Jane), Oliver Twist (Nancy) Sweeney Todd (Mrs Lovett) and many more.
I am a fully trained member of The National Youth Theatre and continued my professional training with Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts obtaining BA HONS Acting degree, with an added qualification in Estil Voice Training. Performing In Playhouse Creatures (Nell Gywnn), directed by Jessica Swale, Spend Spend Spend the musical (Viv), Basset (Lucy) directed by Rebecca Fracknell and an all female Hamlet (Gravedigger/player).
After graduating in 2013, a rehearsed reading for channel 4’s Fresh meat series, I then went on to tour with Vienna’s English Theatre travelling all around Austria and Northern Italy for 10 months, with Emma by Jane Austin, I have appeared in ITV’s Grantchester as Suzy in series two, short film GAIA, two feature films, Anchor and Hope as Vicky and Rise Of The Footsoldier 3 as lawyer Kate Pritchard.
To watch a child’s imagination work is the most magical thing there is.
