Our Performing Arts Classes In Prestatyn

All of our sessions at Theatretrain Prestatyn are led by professionals in an inclusive, group-based environment. We want your child to have FUN while they learn from some of the best in the industry, immersed in an impressive and enjoyable performance programme.

Theatretrain Prestatyn Sessions

Our weekly sessions take place at Ysgol Clawdd Offa, covering the 3 main principles of performance – acting, singing and dancing.

Main Company

These sessions bring students together in their age groups to learn ensemble songs, work on their acting skills and dance their socks off! They become rehearsals for a performance as the year progresses, and all students have the chance to perform each and every year.

Tinies

Junior Ensemble (TT Minis)

We invite our youngest performers to join us for the first 90 minutes each week for an introduction to our dancing, acting and singing classes

Our Production For Summer 2026

Our Spring Term has begun with the news that we’re starting preparations for our production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Oklahoma! This will be performed at Theatr Clwyd in Mold in July. All pupils joining us now will be able to take part in this production.

Just Announced

An additional production tailored especially for our older pupils. The Green Groups (ages 13) from all local Theatretrains will be joining forces for this musical production at The Tivoli in Buckley in December

was our own adaptation of the classic fairy tale including songs by Bruno Mars, Take That and The Greatest Showman.

We organise large-scale performances, and each year our students have the chance to take part in exciting shows and events, making memories and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Our big performances have taken place in stunning venues like the Royal Albert Hall and West End theatres.

Answering your Theatretrain Prestatyn FAQs

Our sessions cover acting, dancing and singing. All our performers learn to use techniques that cover space, storytelling, sound and movement and what we call attitude – the feelings behind their performance. 

At our main company, sessions are offered to 6-18 year-olds, divided into age groups: 6-9 years, 9-12 years and 13-18 years. 

No, we don’t require you to audition for your place at Theatretrain. We don’t judge the people who want to join us, and we’re confident our students will quickly get in the swing of the Theatretrain Way.

Our main sessions are on Thursdays in term time from 4.30-7.30pm.

We also soon be offering Junior Ensemble: TT Minis sessions, which take place on Thursdays in term time from 4-5.30 and TT Tinies sessions, which take place on Thursdays during term time 4-4.45pm

Our Main Company session costs £70 per month

Junior Ensemble: TT Minis £41 per month

Junior Ensemble: TT Tinies £7 for a 45-minute session.
